Should a house be purely practical, or can it also be a work of art? Where does a house end and a sculpture begin? And what is the overall relationship between architecture and fine art? We will look for answers in the current DEVADE exhibition. The architecture of the 1990s often worked with distinctive shapes and playful ideas that referenced both history and postmodern design. We will look at well-known buildings from this period not only in terms of their appearance, but also in terms of how they function, how they fit into their surroundings, and how environmentally friendly they are. In the artistic part of the workshop, we will design our own distinctive house for a vacant lot—that is, an empty space between two houses in the city.
