CAMP Tour: By Train to Michle Train Station

Have you always wanted to go for a ride on a railcar? Then come with us through the depot in Vršovice to the Jih railway station in Michle! The route includes a passage through the rotunda of the locomotive depot and a turn around on the turntable. During the ride you will be able to observe the railway service facilities from an unusual perspective. You will see where locomotives, commuter units, as well as Pendolinos and the latest Comfort Jets are parked and maintained. A guided tour will explain the importance of this part of the infrastructure and its role within the Prague railway junction. You will also learn about the upcoming transformation of the entire Bohdalec-Slatiny development area. The tour will be guided by the moderator Jiří Jaroš together with former railwayman and current transport concept specialist Marek Binko from IPR Prague.

Practical information:

  • The public must meet at least 20 minutes before the start of the tour at the main entrance to the Prague-Vršovice railway station.
  • The event will last approximately 2 hours.
