Footage of the construction of a minimalist mountain villa designed by world-renowned architect Rem Koolhaas. Director Frans Parthesius documents the project from the original bold plan to the actual realization. An AI and technology entrepreneur approaches Koolhaas with a request to build a luxury mansion at the foot of the Alps. The architects at OMA studio then have to grapple with the daunting task of building on a tiny piece of land, which they manage to solve elegantly, while still managing to replicate the character of the surrounding landscape. The design of the concrete house follows Koolhaas' iconic house in Bordeaux, which was built 25 years ago.
