We all have the right to affordable housing! There is a need for a new approach in housing supply, for groups that fall outside the commercial market but don’t qualify for social housing. The conference brings together an interdisciplinary team of experts (architects, lawyers, sociologists, politicians, economists) to explore affordable housing options. Norway, like the Czech Republic, is experimenting with ways to introduce a "third housing sector" - investors who are not building for profit. It can be a private person, company or municipality. The conference will facilitate the sharing of experiences between Norway and the Czech Republic. The conference will be followed by a lecture by Norwegian guests Arild Eriksen + Kathrine Standal + Oda Ellensdatter Solberg and Gjermund Bungum Gorset.
