Hirayama works as a toilet cleaner in Tokyo. He lives happily in his carefully constructed routine and spends his free time reading books, listening to old rock cassettes or taking pictures with his analogue camera. The harmony of his life is disturbed by a series of unexpected encounters that gradually reveal pieces of his past.
