What might affordable housing look like if it were built with one’s own hands? What role does education play in shaping the spaces we live in? And can architecture be a means of building an alternative lifestyle? This documentary follows a community of architects and students in Vermont who are collaborating to design and build affordable, experimental housing. Led by designer David Sellers, the project presents architecture as a shared process that blends learning, practice, and everyday life. Building is not just a technical discipline, but also a way of thinking about the world around us.
The film will be introduced online by director Allie Rood.
