Prague tomorrow? Vltava Philharmonic Hall

The Vltava Philharmonic Hall is one of the most anticipated projects in Prague in the coming decades. In November 2021, an international jury announced the finalists, who submitted 19 competition proposals between them. In May 2022, a winner was chosen—the Danish studio Bjarke Ingels Group. The studio then developed the competition proposal into a detailed architectural study, which also took into account participation with the general public, residents of Prague 7, and local community stakeholders, as well as discussions with experts in acoustics, transport and greenery. What does the design look like now? And what are the next steps? Come on a guided tour of the exhibition dedicated to this new landmark! You will be led by the management team of the Vltava Philharmonic Hall, the Deputy mayor of the City of Prague for Spatial Development and Urban Planning, Petr Hlaváček, and representatives of IPR Prague. The exhibition is on until 18/02.
