Urban Talks: Kathrine Standal, Oda Solberg, Gjermund Gorset a Arild Eriksen

Is there such a thing as a fair housing policy? How does Norway manage affordable housing? How can the Scandinavian country inspire us in this regard? At our next Urban Talks lecture, which will be taking place after a conference on the future of urban housing, you will hear from experts who deal with this matter on a daily basis. Architect Oda Solberg will speak about Natural State, an organization specializing on developing a sustainable economy from the perspective of urbanism. Kathrine Standal, the director of a housing fund in Trondheim, will walk us through Norway’s housing policy. Politician Gjermund Gorset will share his experience of governing Svartlamon, Trondheim’s experimental community neighborhood. Our fourth guest will be architect and author of a book Pilotbydelen, Arild Eriksen, the founder of Fragment, an architecture firm focused on designing community housing.

The lecture will follow a morning workshop organized by CCEA MOBA.

Organizer: CCEA MOBA; Partners: IPR Prague, CAMP and Creative Europe; Financed by EHP/Norway 2014 – 2021 funds; The event is held under the auspices of The Czech Chamber of Architects
