Find a way to your destination, the right platform, or even a doctor's office. Three projects share one goal – to create clear and accessible navigation. Čitelná Praha (Legible Prague) from ROPID unifies the visual style of urban mobility – from maps on obelisks to signs in the metro. Správa železnic (Railway Administration) has introduced a new design for the orientation system at Czech train stations, which aims for maximum clarity and a reduction in the number of signs. Czechdesign will present the Správným směrem (In the Right Direction) project, which advocates for improved navigation in hospitals and healthcare facilities. How are such systems created, tested, and fine-tuned to be understandable to their users? Representatives from ROPID, Správa železnic, Czechdesign, and the graphic design studios Side2, Studio Marvil, and Toman Design will discuss these issues.
