Zátopek

In the turbulent year of 1968, Australian record holder Ron Clarke comes to Prague to meet legendary runner Emil Zátopek, whom he admires immensely. In Ron's interviews with Emil, the film retrospectively revisits pivotal moments in the athlete's sporting and private life, resulting in a complex portrait of a man who never loses pace even after his last race is over, and whose battles aren't limited only to the track. The film tells the story of an unbreakable willpower that still inspires thousands of athletes around the world today, as well as the unique relationship of two people—Emil and Dana Zátopkovi—who, despite all the obstacles, have spent their entire lives together.
