Concéntrico: Urban Innovation Laboratory

How can architecture and design transform a city in a matter of days while leaving a lasting mark for years to come? For ten years now, the Concéntrico festival in Logroño, Spain, has been a living laboratory—through more than 150 creative installations, it raises questions about identity, heritage, and new ways of coexisting. Its curator, Javier Peña-Ibañez, presented a new publication, Concéntrico: Urban Innovation Laboratory, which captures this decade of experiments and dialogues between creators, the public, and the city itself. What projects did the festival bring and what experiences with temporariness does the Czech participation in this festival have? In a discussion with the curator, representatives of the KOGAA, Nami-Nami, and Mjölk studios shared their involvement.

The following guests accepted the invitation to participate in the discussion:

  • Javier Peña — Ibañez / Concéntrico Festival
  • Tomáš Kozelský / KOGAA
  • Klára Koldová / Nami Nami Studio
  • Jan Mach / Mjölk architekti

Moderator: Kristýna Drápalová

The event was held in cooperation with the Cervantes Institute.
