Architecture as a service

How can we prepare the next generation of architects to combine design quality with social responsibility? How can architectural studies develop empathy and imagination and reflect current events? Sarah Whiting, Dean of the Harvard Graduate School of Design, spoke at the regular Urban Talks event about how architectural education could respond to some of today's fundamental challenges. In the current tense context, the question arises once again: What role should architecture play? And how can a profession that shapes our cities and everyday environment contribute to a more just and sustainable future?

The video also includes a recording of a discussion hosted by Rozálie Kašparová with Regina Loukotková, architect, co-founder, and rector of the international private school ARCHIP, and Maria Topolčanská, architect, educator, and rector emeritus of the Academy of Fine Arts.
