CAMP Tour: Prague by Rail

Almost everyone has traveled by train between cities, but what about railways as part of urban public transport? This guided journey across Prague will introduce historic stations, newly emerging stops, and places where passengers will board trains in twenty or thirty years. The route will lead from Masaryk Station through Bubny, Výstaviště, and Veleslavín to Hostivice, from where the train will return on the second track back to Main Station via the Prague Semmering and Smíchov. The ride on the legendary Class 810 railcar, nicknamed the Orchestrion, will be accompanied by commentary on the history of the original Buštěhrad Railway, current projects, and the planned integration of the lines into the modernized Prague railway hub. The tour will be led by Marek Binko and Jiří Jaroš from IPR Prague.
