CAMP TOUR: The oldest allotment village

How does allotment gardening work in Prague? And what makes it a specifically Czech phenomenon? Join us on a visit to one, located in Libeň, which was founded in 1927 and is considered the oldest allotment village in Prague. In 2008, it was made famous by director Jan Hřebejk in the movie U mě dobrý. Allotment gardening in Prague plays an important role as a way to relax and as a place for community gatherings. These green oases also contribute significantly to the ecological stability of the city. On our walk, we will talk about the allotments, as well as projects in the area, such as the new neighborhood, Rohan City. You will be guided by experts from IPR Prague and representatives of the LIOS association.
