Throw it away? Or transform it? Come help clean up CAMP and give things a second life at the same time. Under the guidance of experienced designers for whom recycling is a natural part of their creative process, we’ll work with materials from the exhibitions—from paper and banners to plywood and other installation elements. You’ll take home your own piece of CAMP and the experience of thinking about materials in a new way.
During the workshop with designer Adam Kvaček, we’ll discuss the use of recycled materials in architecture and design. Under the guidance of the designer and our instructors, you’ll then use the exhibition panels to make storage boxes.
Adam Kvaček is an object creator, multidisciplinary designer, and a graduate of the Product Design Studio at UMPRUM. He focuses on design research that emphasizes context. He explores and communicates the environmental, social, and geopolitical aspects of design through his work on installations, workshops, or objects in combination with other media. He has exhibited at Dutch Design Week in Eindhoven and at the Alcova Miami innovative design showcase.
Registration for the workshop will open on 1 June.
