The infamous Kuncovka house in Brno becomes the scene of a cruel drama. Its residents decide to rebel against the oppression and bullying of the hostel owner, and their struggle for basic living conditions gradually draws them into extreme and seemingly hopeless situations. It turns out that this is not just a conflict with one person, but with the entire system of public institutions that allows such behavior. This time-lapse immersion into the world of poverty exploitation, focusing on so-called predatory houses, won the main prize in the Česká radost (Czech Joy) competition at the 28th Ji.hlava International Festival of Documentary Films.
