Archilab: Designing a Park for Everyone

Can a park be a place that truly serves everyone? How can it be designed to reflect the diverse needs of the people who use it—from children and parents to dog owners and seniors? In this interactive workshop, we will explore a part of Holešovice called Bubny-Zátory through the lens of public space and community design. Together, we will look at how parks are planned. We will understand the different perspectives of their users and design our own park that takes into account nature, play, and accessibility. Participants will learn how planners listen to local residents and why community involvement is key to creating public spaces.
