The area between the Prague-Eden and Prague-Zahradní Město railway stations is one of the largest unused areas in the capital, sometimes referred to as the Bohdalec-Slatiny brownfield. How to approach the transformation of one of Prague's most important brownfields and how can rail transport be appropriately integrated into the urban fabric? How to coordinate all the public interests and other requirements placed on the area? The Department of Urban Development of the City of Prague, together with the team of Deputy Mayor Petr Hlaváček, representatives of Prague 10, IPR Prague and the Správa železnic administration, commissioned the architectural studio Jakub Cigler Architekti to prepare a preliminary study.
